Our business
solutions and services

At Relevant Bits, we want to positively influence customer experiences and outcomes with data, design, technology, and critical thinking. From research and strategy to UX and custom web development, the improvements you choose to make are an investment. We help you execute responsibly on those decisions.

Because effective web development is not simply writing code, our services and approach are purposefully designed to be iterative, detailed, transparent, innovative, and managed.

Let's focus on building business solutions, not websites.

Strategy is the foundation on which we build everything; partnership is how we achieve success.

Strategy & partnership

On strategy. You deserve a team that asks good questions, listens carefully to the answers, and thinks critically about the right path forward.

Strategy and development go hand-in-hand, but we emphasize the former for a reason. Developing a strategy so you can succeed now is important; making choices so you can thrive in the future is our priority.

On partnership. We need you as much as you need us. Forming a strategic partnership takes work and time, but it's also a powerful investment. When we all engage in the decision-making process, the business solutions are longer lasting and the results more impactful.

Value-based pricing

We understand the importance of predictability; we accomplish this with a set monthly fee for the term of a project.

This is not a retainer. It’s a goal-driven approach. We work with you and your key stakeholders to understand the project goals and objectives. From there, we build a project plan and then strategically bring on the right resources at the right time within the cost of the flat fee.

We are not time-and-materials. We are agile and as such, if we feel like we need to bring on another developer to hit a sprint deadline, that cost is on us.

Ultimately, your project is always on budget.
ON WORKING TOGETHER
"It felt like we were a partner. We weren't just being told, 'you have to do this' or 'you have to do that'. It was a very creative collaboration."
– Rebecca Arsham, Online Program Manager, Autodesk University

Agile project management

Delivering a project is more than managing a project — it’s empowering our team to excel at their strengths and complete work at the highest level. Our focus on the delivery ensures that developers stay focused, timelines are communicated, risks get highlighted, and outcomes are met. The multidisciplinary team at Relevant Bits is carefully constructed to deliver value, and the agile project manager is a key leader in that process.
ON WORKING EFFECTIVELY
“You can count on Relevant Bits to go with what they know will work. Effective and proven is what matters to Relevant Bits — they don’t care if it’s the newest, trendiest, or nerdiest.”
- Ray Mannion, Director of Product, Corevist

Design

We incorporate user experience (UX) design into our process to ensure our solutions are simple, unique, and effective. Being effective requires that we prioritize the user and align their journey with the right outcomes.

Development

As a technology agnostic company, we identify the right business solution together before choosing the best platform to build it on. Then we develop iteratively in order to show progress quickly.
We’ve found that this approach also helps us uncover gaps sooner and minimize inefficiencies and miscommunication. Our goal isn’t just to build something better ... it’s to build the best.
